　　尼诺（韦斯利·斯奈普斯 Wesley Snipes 饰）刚开始只是一个混迹街头的小混混，之后和一群好兄弟们创立了帮派。他们的志向非常的宏大，那就是成为纽约最大的毒枭。尼诺的行事风格非常毒辣，任何想要挡在他前面，或是想要分一杯羹的人都只有死路一条。在杀掉了他的所有竞争对手之后，尼诺的梦想终于实现了。

　　It’s summer 1992, a month before the collapse of the Soviet empire. A military scientist, Colonel Dautov, serves at the top-secret laboratory on Rebirth Island. The Colonel’s beliefs and military oath are challenged when he rescues an imprisoned woman from the laboratory and helps a CIA agent to find the secret burial ground of 200 tons of the bioweapon Anthrax-836 to avert the biological apocalypse.

　　The morning after Trudy, a law school student, unsuspectingly steps into what she believes to be a "NetCar" black sedan, she wakes up confused and alone in a seedy motel-the victim of a roofie and sexual assault. Frustrated by the slow pace of the justice system, she takes matters into her own hands. Becoming NetCar driver herself, Trudy goes on a crusade to find and stop the serial rapist to whom she fell victim.

　　Five women are running an old hotel and trying to save it from inexorable decay. Viver Mal is the reverse shot of Mal Viver, which is screening in the Competition: here, João Canijo reveals everything that was floating in the depth of field in this film’s mirror image. Reality becomes the intertwining and multiplication of different points of view; the intersection between what can be seen and what the eye misses. Like a play of light reflections, Viver Mal is Mal Viver in another dimension. The image is distorted, but at the same time seeks a new definition by relaunching itself into infinity.
